Using state-of-the-art equipment, the procedure involves the introduction of warm, filtered water into the colon. Through temperature, flow control, and gentle massage techniques, old waste is flushed away, contributing to a sense of improved health and wellbeing.
Rest assured, your personal dignity will be fully maintained throughout the procedure. After the gentle insertion of a small tube into the rectum, you will be completely covered to ensure your privacy. There is no need to worry about mess or odour, as these concerns are effectively managed during a colonic hydrotherapy session. The process is designed to be clean and hygienic, ensuring your comfort and peace of mind.
To get the best out of your treatment, please make sure you are well hydrated by drinking at least 2 litres of water daily the week before your appointment. On the day of your appointment please do not eat for a couple of hours before and avoid gassy drinks and food.
It should not be seen as an alternative to seeing your GP if you have any health concerns. Neither is it intended to infer or imply that symptoms of IBS or other bowel conditions will be resolved.

Colon Massage

For those who don’t want a treatment as invasive as a colonic why not think about having a colon massage. It’s a lovely relaxing treatment that can be highly effective. It stimulates blood flow to the area and helps ease digestive discomfort. It is still a complete treatment that will have a big impact on your bowel health but without the need for tubes and water.
Colon massage techniques performed for approx. 40mins and toilet time is also available after the treatment if needed.

Colonic hydrotherapy with a herbal Infusion

Herbal infusions work directly on the bowel wall and depending which herbs are used they can help relax the bowel allowing it to release gas pockets, or stimulate the bowel which has a toning effect and helps the bowel work more effectively. A regular colonic session is part of this treatment and the organic herbs are gently absorbed into the colon via an enema kit.
The herbs are tailored to the individual and can aid the body to restore a natural rhythm and work more effectively.

Colonic hydrotherapy with a coffee enema

The aim of coffee is to clean the colon and stimulate the liver. When bile is produced it draws out toxins and waste products which are eliminated when the bowel is emptied. Coffee also stimulates the colon to produce a bowel movement. A coffee enema is administered towards the end of a colonic hydrotherapy treatment.
It’s not advisable to have a coffee enema in the evening as it could affect your sleep.

Colonic hydrotherapy with a probiotic implant

Probiotic implants are high strength live bacteria. They are similar to the bacteria already found in the gut but work more efficiently as they are delivered directly to the colon.
A normal colonic is firstly carried out followed by the high dose probiotic implant. The absorption is immediate leading to the immediate population of good bacteria vital for optimum colonic health.
